In this role, you will work closely with management, internal stakeholders, and external partners while actively contributing to the continuous development of our company culture and HR processes.

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Providing holistic support and guidance to managers and employees on all HR-related topics
• Managing the entire employee lifecycle: From onboarding to offboarding
• Driving, optimizing, and further developing HR processes and HR tools
• Preparing monthly payroll in collaboration with an external payroll provider
• Managing the full-cycle recruiting process: From workforce planning and coordination of external partners to conducting final interviews
• Taking ownership of labor law-related topics and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Preparing, maintaining, and managing employment contracts and other HR-related documentation
• Supporting workforce planning and personnel planning activities
• Contributing to cross-functional company projects and the further development of HR structures and standards
• Maintaining employee master data and preparing HR reports, analyses, and KPIs
• Handling general HR administrative tasks
• Participating in ASA meetings as the HR representative

We are looking to hire a passionate Scientist - Computational Biology [f/m/d] to join our Assay Development team.

By working closely with biologists and biomedical experts, you will be responsible for the computational analysis of high-dimensional spatial single-cell data, with a strong focus on immuno-oncology and targeted gene panel design. 

This is a full-time position based at our company headquarters in Monheim am Rhein, Germany, where you will collaborate closely with the Application Development, Molecular Biology, and Data Science teams.

• Apply software tools and pipelines for computational downstream analysis of Molecular Cartography spatial multi-omic datasets.

• Design and evaluate targeted gene panels for performance and accuracy. 

• Derive biological insights from high-dimensional single-cell data (imaging- and sequencing-based), such as cell type identification, differential expression, cellular neighborhoods, and cell-cell communication. 

• Assess the impact of technical variables (e.g., optical crowding, cell segmentation) on data analysis results. 

• Use solid statistical methods to evaluate data quality, identify patterns, and draw meaningful biological conclusions. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and gather requirements from team members and other project teams. 

• Train and support internal users in the use of data analysis tools and pipelines when necessary 

• Collaborate effectively to achieve shared project goals and meet deadlines. 

• Take ownership of personal work planning in alignment with agreed objectives.

• Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming goods to ensure they meet quality and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues with incoming shipments.
• Accurately book all incoming goods into the ERP system in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the procurement and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of data.
• Manage relationships with logistics providers to ensure optimal service levels and cost efficiency.
• Oversee the receipt of incoming biological samples, ensuring all samples are handled in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all logistics activities, including shipment documentation, inspection reports, and ERP entries.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including IATA guidelines and data protection directives.
• Implement and monitor warehouse safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
