Head of Human Resources [m/f/d]

Your mission
​With immediate ​effect, we are looking ​to hire a full-time Head of Human Resources [m/f/d]. In this position, you will lead all Human Resources across Resolve Biosciences. You and your team will be responsible for all operational and strategic HR management for employees at Resolve’s sites in Monheim, Germany and San Jose, California, as well as for employees in the field. The HR team must facilitate Resolve’s planned exponential growth which will include new global commercial offices.  The Head of Human Resources will be a key member of the Company’s leadership team and be a business partner to all. The HR team must support a high-performance, start-up culture and implement strategic HR processes while delivering on tactical objectives. As an HR all-rounder, you master the full range of modern HR management and impress with your entrepreneurial skills, creative drive and strong implementation skills. In this position you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will be ​mainly responsible for the following tasks: 

  • Strategic partner and professional advisor for management and executives
  • Drive recruiting and retention processes
  • Competent, comprehensive advice and support for employees and managers in all personnel-related and labor law issues
  • Management and control of the HR team with currently 2 employees
  • Further development and improvement of operational structures and processes in terms of organizational development as well as corresponding management of change processes
  • Further development of the HR strategy with focus on employer branding, talent and leadership development, compensation as well as promotion of the corporate culture
  • Continuous optimization of HR processes, structures and tools in the areas of recruitment, retention and development
  • Ensuring the optimal flow of all administrative processes and structures including the interface to external payroll
Your profile
  • Successfully completed studies with focus on HR or comparable qualification
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in the field of Human Resources, both operationally and strategically; including several years with full HR responsibility for an operating business in Germany and preferably also in the US  
  • Several years of practical experience in dynamic, growth-oriented, international companies (preferably start-up experience)
  • Intercultural competence and business fluent German and English skills
  • Enjoy stakeholder management, acknowledged contact person to all levels and a motivating leader
  • Very good general HR knowledge as well as experience in implementing modern HR structures
  • Strong process orientation, hands-on mentality and international mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, strong creative drive and strong implementation skills
  • Independent and solution-oriented way of working, as well as a confident appearance as a leader
