We are looking to hire a passionate Scientist – Kit and Assay Verification [f/m/d] to join our System Integration team.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing kit and assay verification for our Molecular Cartography™ platform. You will bring experience in product development within the life science industry, ideally with molecular or biochemical assay development for platform technologies. Working closely with interdisciplinary teams across Research & Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations, you will support the successful transfer of products under development into routine manufacturing.
This is a full-time position based at our company headquarters in Monheim am Rhein, Germany, where you will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Research & Development organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define verification and validation tests based on product requirements and perform system-level testing on the Molecular Cartography™ platform.
- Plan, execute, analyze, and document verification and validation studies.
- Establish performance metrics using test datasets to quantify assay performance, reproducibility, and overall assay quality.
- Optimize protocol steps and automated workflows on the Molecular Cartography™ platform.
- Perform final development and verification of protein-based assays.
- Develop kit specifications and quality control metrics for handover to the Manufacturing and Quality Control teams.
- Collaborate closely with Research & Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams to support the successful transfer of products into routine manufacturing.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to scientific and technical discussions.
- Take ownership of personal work planning in alignment with agreed objectives.
