Your mission
As a
Supply Chain Agent (m/f/d), you are the driving force behind our logistics operations and facility management, contributing to a smooth workflow. Together with the Logistics & Supply Chain team, you are responsible for logistics processes at our headquarters in Mohnheim am Rhein and are also the central contact person for facility management.
Your Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming goods to ensure they meet quality and compliance standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues with incoming shipments.
- Accurately book all incoming goods into the ERP system in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the procurement and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of data.
- Manage relationships with logistics providers to ensure optimal service levels and cost efficiency.
- Oversee the receipt of incoming biological samples, ensuring all samples are handled in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all logistics activities, including shipment documentation, inspection reports, and ERP entries.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including IATA guidelines and data protection directives.
- Implement and monitor warehouse safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
