(Field) Service Engineer [m/f/d]

Your mission
With immediate effect, we are looking to hire a full-time (Field) Service Engineer [m/f/d]. You will become a member of the Field Service team, servicing our Molecular Cartography™ platforms at Resolve’s Labs as well as customer sites.  

This is a role based out the company’s headquarters of Monheim, Germany office but will need to effectively work globally. This role reports to the Head of Operations. 

Your Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on our Molecular Cartography™ platforms. 
  • Installation and relocations of our Molecular Cartography ™ platforms. 
  •  Document activities, create service reports as required. 
  • Coordinate service activities with site personnel, as needed. 
  • Provide technical remote and phone support to customers. 
  • Train others to perform servicing activities on our Molecular Cartography ™ platforms. 
  • Generate service instruction documentation. 
  • Propose design changes to improve reliability, serviceability, and the customer experience. 
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures. 
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/science field or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience of servicing electro-mechanical products, medical devices preferred. 
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professionalism. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve malfunctions in complex electromechanical systems. 
  • Excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). 
  • Detail-oriented. 
  • Ability to follow procedures without deviations. 
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs (approx. 23 kg).
  • Willingness to up to 50% travel.
