Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) - Assay Development

We are looking to hire a passionate Laboratory Technician [f/m/d] into our Assay Development Team.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, perform, and document experiments focused on reagent development and optimization for molecular biology applications 
  • Evaluate experimental results and perform basic analyses of diverse imaging datasets 
  • Prepare samples, including histological sectioning using cryotomes and microtomes 
  • Develop and implement quality control measures, conduct in-process controls, and support verification and validation studies 
  • Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper function of laboratory equipment 
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to scientific discussions 
Your profile
  • Degree or certification as BTA, CTA, Biologielaborant, or equivalent qualification 
  • Hands-on experience with molecular biology and biochemical techniques, including work with nucleic acids and proteins 
  • Ideally experienced in histological staining methods such as smFISH and IHC/Immunofluorescence 
  • Industry experience is a strong advantage 
  • Proficient in English; German is a plus 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to embrace new technologies and workflows 
  • A hands-on mindset with a "can-do" attitude and readiness to tackle challenges 
  • Passion for working in agile, multicultural teams within a dynamic start-up environment
